Dee Dee yearned to travel the world; she chose to do so by

enlisting in the U.S. Army. While serving as a proud member of the Armed Forces, she was deployed several times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dee Dee deployed a total of 6 tours to Iraq. During on one of her deployments,

Dee Dee was Wounded In Action and received a Purple Heart for her services. Although Dee Dee was busy traveling the world and serving her country, she did not stop using her voice. Dee Dee sang around the world on numerous army bases, churches, and concert venues throughout her military tours. After ten years of being in the Army, Dee Dee was honorably discharged on June 28 th , 2009, due to health reasons; she turned this into an opportunity to focus on her music full time.

Since allowing music to be her full-time focus, Dee Dee has settled down in Killeen, Texas and added to her

musical resume. In addition to over five hundred performances, in 2011 she released a single titled, “Presence of the King”. She has also worked with “Bobby Jones Presents” in New Orleans, Louisiana and she has opened for Dorothy Norwood in Fort Worth, Texas. She has also opened up for Jonathan McReynolds and opened up for and was a featured artist on the “Dear Future Me” tour in Killeen, TX with Kierra Sheard, Zacardi Cortez, and James Furtune.  Dee Dee is most excited about her latest project, an album titled; “Dear Daddy,” which was released early 2018. DeeDee stated that the project came to her in a dream, describing the project as such: “When we get to the point where we can speak to God as our Daddy, our relationship and intimacy with Him changes.” This is the theme of the entire project; there are two tracks on the project that stand out the most for Dee Dee; Awakening and This is Your Day. After some time taking care of her personal life, she has begun a new chapter in her music career, business, and personal life as well. Her new and upcoming album is titled “Created For This” scheduled to release April 2024. She is also a volunteer, a mentor, and the administrator for BUS Media, a youth educational training facility that facilitates multiple digital media curriculum with performing arts training. BUS Media trains our youth in film and video production, music production, show and hosting, news team, film club, podcast team and design teams. She is also aCo-Author of two Volume books of “The Camouflage Sisters” as well as a Minister of the Gospel. She has a Bachelors in Christian Ministry and is currently pursuing her Masters in Divinity at Wayland Baptist University. Dee Dee’s music can be described as Contemporary Gospel; however, she has the ability to minister to

anyone through her music. She represents change; her music is a beautiful blend of the old gospel and new gospel.

Dee Dee is confident that His plan is to have her to reach millions as His vessel for Our Lord and Savior, Jesus

Christ.
